Our mission is to create great videos, and we believe creating great video comes from truly understanding our clients and their video needs. That’s why we created the Wallaby Retainer program. With a retainer, we get to know our clients’ brand inside and out, saving us and them time and money while making better and better videos. We only have a limited number of retainer spots available each year to provide our retainer clients the highest level of service possible.
Who is a good fit?
Our retainers are a perfect fit for regional to national businesses with consistent video needs. If a client has more than two video shoots in a year and multiple deliverables from each shoot, then a retainer would likely make sense for them. Our retainers dramatically reduce the cost of each shoot and provide our clients video support throughout the year. This support can include help with budgeting, scheduling, concepting, delivery, editing and re-editing of existing content.
How much Does it cost?
Our retainer packages come in different levels to fit our clients’ budget and content needs. We have one retainer client who may have over 100 deliverables in a year, we have another who has only four to ten. Each retainer is customized to fit the unique needs of our clients. Our retainers are designed to scale to accomodate our clients’ content needs. When proposing a production budget, we can show our clients how much they would save if they were on retainer. This makes it very easy to see the cost of the retainer compared to a one off project.
How does it work?
Retainers are a one year agreement. They can be paid quarterly or monthly. Our agreements guarantee our clients many benefits as well as dedicated time that our team will work on their projects. It really is like having a team of video production experts with a ton of equipment and experience working for you (except for there is no on-boarding, benefits, etc). Our retainers are suitable for full scale production as well as video consulting and editing.

Equipment
Either rented from a production company or would need to be purchased, maintained and upgraded as production technology advances. This includes server storage, edit suite, camera, lenses, grip, lighting, support, etc.
Workload capabilities
If you have multiple projects that require multiple skillsets or are in different phases of development, then you have one employee working on one project at a time.

Wallaby retainer costs
A monthly or quarterly payment that covers all video production work per the retainer agreement, and is typically less than 1 salaried video production professional. No Payroll taxes, 401k, benefits, onboarding, etc.
Retainer: $60,000
Total Cost: $60,000 per year
Includes a deep discount on equipment needed for any shoot dates.
Includes media storage over lifetime of the retainer for any re-edits of existing footage.
Multiple crew roles are included, others can be subcontracted as needed
Equipment
Wallaby stays up to date on all the latest video production gear. Equipment such as media storage and edit suite are included. Then you get a deep discount on any production equipment such as camera, grip, lenses and lighting on any shoots.
Workload capabilities
You get a team of video production professionals. Wallaby can be working on pre-production for one video, while shooting another and editing various other deliverables.
