Ktty Hwk is a beach towel brand that launched in North Carolina. It set out to be different from other beach towels, combining functionality with unique aesthetic and comfort. The team at The Agency Marketing Group in Charlotte reached out to Wallaby to put together a video that showed off the lifestyle these towels are trying to embody. They wanted a fashion video that showed a carefree, fulfilling enjoyment of coastal lifestyles.

Designed for adventure

The Wallaby team wanted to create a brand launch video for Ktty Hwk that showed fun and adventure, yet also felt beautiful and timeless. The scenes brought the fun and adventure, from filming on the ocean at sunrise, to the intercoastal to boats and Carolina Beach State Park. The timelesness was achieved by using prisms and emulating film stock which felt completely at home in the context of a fashion style video. Yet we wanted to incorporate a moden feel too, leading to split screen shots showing the functionality of these beach towels.

The towels themselves have many aspects that make them unique: they feature a zip pocket to store items for a day at the beach, they are quick drying, soft, with beautiful designs, and have tabs to pin the to the sand so they do not blow away in the wind. They also are designed to repel sand. Highlighting all of these features were key to the launch video.
